Spots are never a good thing, but there is a big difference between a small spot in an out of the way place and a large number of blackheads. A blackhead is so called as it traps the dead skin cells, bacteria and oil in a hair follicle and caps it with a blackened mass, hence the name. Blackheads can still be treated though, so it’s still not the end of the world, however many you end up with!
