New findings by scientists at Cambridge University could link success in financial trading with finger length. Those with ring fingers longer than index fingers were found to make the most money. This is thought to be linked to exposure to testosterone in the womb, so the better traders were more aggressive. (more…)

One turkey at least has escaped it’s fate this year, when it was found wandering along the road. It’s unclear where the bird came from, it could have fallen off the back of a truck, or escaped from a farm or a private coop. (more…)
Violence in schools is becoming a big problem, with over 7000 police call outs in the past year. The worst area appeared to be that covered by the Metropolitan police, but differences in how the statistics are recorded means comparisons are difficult. (more…)
