Biology counts for success

New findings by scientists at Cambridge University could link success in financial trading with finger length. Those with ring fingers longer than index fingers were found to make the most money. This is thought to be linked to exposure to testosterone in the womb, so the better traders were more aggressive.

This finger ratio has also been linked to success in competitive sports, giving weight to the testosterone theory. Greater exposure of the ‘aggression’ hormone can lead to a greater degree of competitiveness. This can then logically lead to success in areas where this counts, such as sports and trading. It certainly lends an edge to natural talent!
