X-Rays in the Office

An experiment has shown that sticky tape emits X-Rays, enough to scan a human finger. Peeling sticky tape has been known to emit sparks of light that can be seen with the naked eye in the dark, known as triboluminescence, but now there is evidence on the phenomenon. (more…)

My Book External Hard Drive

I love my My Book external hard drive. I have the world edition, and it keeps all my data accessible to the network, so my XBox can get my media, automatic backups run from my laptop and I could even make it accessible from anywhere on the net if I wanted. Generally I find I only need it on my home network, so I keep it local, but it’s been brilliant for making sure everything I need is accessible.
