Sleeping Disorders affect millions of people every night. These can be categorized by problems such as falling asleep at inappropriate times, difficulty falling asleep, unusual behaviour while asleep or requiring excessive amounts of sleep.

A sleeping disorder can be caused by many factors, some of the most common include pain, incontinence, drugs or babies. However simply a change in lifestyle, such as shift times, can cause disruption leading to a sleeping disorder. Parasomnias, or arousal disorders, are more common in children and can be recognised by the physical symptoms such as teeth grinding or sleep walking. Stress and emotional upheaval are the most common risk factors causing parasomnias.
